Lourdes Volunteers will be sharing the Message of Lourdes at the Gaming, Austria Campus on Monday, September 7th, 2026. We look forward to extending Our Lady’s invitation to the Franciscan University Students to serve on holy pilgrimage in Lourdes this October 2026 during their 10 day Mission trip.
We are excited to meet you this semester on your 10 Day Mission Trip to Lourdes, France! We look forward to seeing you at the Lourdes Virtual Pilgrimage Experience® on Monday, September 7th in Maria Thron Chapel at 8:00 pm.
The Informational Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 8th in Audi Min at TBD time. Is Our Lady calling you to serve?
The 10 Day Mission Trip costs only $399 thanks to generous donors who give to off-set the original cost. There is also a FREE 2-credit hour opportunity for students! Come to the meeting to find out more.

Franciscan University 10 Day Mission Trip to Lourdes:
Serve Our Lady’s pilgrims in Lourdes this year!
October 10-17, 2026
(arrive between 3-8 pm
on October 10th)
$399
Volunteers provide necessary support for the pilgrimage group including:
- Transportation Services: wheelchair, voiture and luggage assistance.
- Communications: taking images and video for social media production.
- Dining Room Service: set up, serve, clean up.
- Housekeeping: clean rooms, make beds, clean floors, take out trash and clean bathrooms.
- Hospitality Service: provide coffee, tea, Lourdes water and assistance to pilgrims.
- Nursing and Pre-Med students: serve with the Medical Team providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living, attending medical meetings and gaining experience with Catholic medical professionals.
- Arrival in Lourdes: Saturday, October 10 (3:00 pm- 8:00 pm) Mass at 6 pm; Dinner at 7 pm following Mass.
- Departure of Lourdes: Check out is after Noon on October 17th. Make travel arrangements after Noon on this day.
- Travel in pairs and/or small groups! It is highly discouraged to travel alone!
- Cafeteria Hours: Opens 6:30 pm
Doors close (everyone out) by 8:45 pm (closing time)-must have a meal ticket to eat in volunteer cafeteria. Ticket cannot be purchased there, receive from leadership team.
Payments, Cancellations and Terms
Application and non-refundable $100 deposit due Monday, September 14, 2026.
Final payment due Friday, September 25, 2026.
All payments are non-refundable after September 25, 2026.

It is our blessing to join pilgrims on their journey to Lourdes and to pray with them in the Grotto. Celebrating 24 years in service to the sick, we continue to accompany volunteer service pilgrimages to support Our Lady’s pilgrims when journeying to the Grotto. Our pilgrimages are accompanied by Catholic priests and leaders faithful to the Church. It is our privilege to assist volunteers in preparation, in travel and on a transformative life-changing journey to the Grotto bringing healing not only to those they serve but for themselves for many years to come.
