Dr. David H. Barton is a retired Colonel USAF Medical Corps. Dr. Barton graduated from St.Marys College in California with BS in Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University. Completed Pediatric Residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital and subsequently obtained postdoctoral Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine from Yale University. Served in USAF Medical Corps for twenty years, retiring in 1992. Recently celebrated 50th wedding anniversary with his beautiful wife Debby. They have two children- a son and a daughter who has blessed them with 8 grandchildren. Also a Knight in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher, and member of the Catholic Medical Association. He and his wife are currently the head of the Marriage Preparation program for their parish in Las Vegas. In 2017 through their contacts with Deacon Dan Revetto, joined in hosting a Lourdes Virtual Pilgrimage Experience in Las Vegas. He and Debby were blessed to have been introduced to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitality by an encounter with the Founder of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitality North American Volunteers, Marlene Watkins, on 9 September 2013 at Mass in the grotto chapel of Lourdes. Dave and Debby are ever grateful to Marlene for her gracious and inspiring spirit, a blessing beyond measure!
