  • Each week we will discuss a different chapter in the book, Everyday Miracles of Lourdes and will have special guest panelists.
  • You will be able to ask questions as well. Throughout our time together there will be exclusive offers for you and your friends, including how you can get an autographed copy of the book.

Vickie has been participating in book clubs for more than two years and is currently part of five different book clubs. She has been to Lourdes twice, most recently in February 2023 as part of the Everyday Miracles of Lourdes Book Launch Pilgrimage.

Tom is a two-time Lourdes Volunteer, serving our supportive care pilgrims as a brancardier, and hosted the official launch of Everyday Miracles of Lourdes on February 11, 2023, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. He recently accompanied Marlene on several book tour appearances and book signings through Pennsylvania and Florida.

September 11: Marlene

The author recalls first-hand traumatic events leading to agoraphobia and an unexpected healing in the Baths at Lourdes.

September 18: Claudette

A decades-lapsed Catholic with both bipolar disorder and addictions feels her life drastically change on a pilgrimage to Lourdes.

An avid gardener severely allergic to bees is stung and lands in the intensive care unit of a California hospital where she envisions the Lourdes Eucharistic Procession and realizes the path to heaven.

A young adult quadriplegic living in an institutional group home sinks into bitterness until he finds his purpose in Lourdes and forms a special relationship with the Sign of the Cross and North American Lourdes Volunteers.

After a leukemia diagnosis, a beautiful dying young woman travels to Lourdes where she overcomes her last obstacle to total love. 

November 6: Sheena

A fifteen year old pregnant teen who was dragged by her mother to abort her unplanned baby grieves her loss until a liquid grace fills the personal gap.

November 13: Dolores and Alejandro

An elderly prayerful couple struggles as the wife, nearing her one hundredth birthday, comes to fear surviving her beloved, but through a change of events is uplifted by Our Lady’s promise to St. Bernadette. 

November 20: Alley

Sexually abused by a neighbor, a young adopted girl bears her terrible secret as her mother battles bouts of debilitating depression. What she learns during a youth mission to Lourdes leads to a life-long healing.

November 27: Marlow

A mysterious packet arrives in the Lourdes Volunteers office with a Holy Eucharist inexplicably attached to a passport photo. The sender reverses his feelings of unworthiness when he learns humility and love from the life of St. Bernadette. 

December 4: Theresa

When her husband dies by suicide, a widow’s unending grief takes her to Lourdes where she meets a charming Irish man and finds happiness once again. 

December 11: Gene

A WWII veteran nearing the end of his life struggles with the haunting memory of a dying young enemy boy. During the annual International Military Pilgrimage at Lourdes, a volunteer from Holland meets the aging veteran and together reach realizations that bring peace to them both. 

December 18: Jeremy

After a profoundly disabled baby is placed in foster care, a physical therapist and her family give him a loving home life that is celebrated in the Grotto of Lourdes.

A U.S. Naval Officer and Underwater Demolition Explosives Special Operations Diver fears for the life of her newborn daughter born with an incurable debilitating medical condition. After a family journey to Lourdes, the family finds confidence in God’s plan allowing happiness to be restored at home. 

January 29: Colleen and Maris

Traveling to Lourdes, a lone woman in the airport is invited to join a small pilgrimage, which is later discovered to be the answer to her desperate prayers in Paris after losing all of her belongings in the airport while missing her flight home to Africa. With the help of her newfound friend and the nurse assigned to assist her, the dying woman who extended the impromptu invitation makes a holy Confession, reconciling herself to God in preparation for a holy death.

February 5: Earl

Following a pilgrimage to Lourdes, a man returns home to New Orleans and promises a neighbor he will watch over his elderly mother; then Hurricane Katrina strikes. He needs a miracle to survive and a saintly friend comes to the rescue.

When Covid-19 flooded her hospital, a nurse’s faith-filled strength provides physical and spiritual assistance to her patients.
