Cardinal Burke Celebrates 50 Years of Priesthood on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul

Join us in honoring our true friend of Holy Mother Church, son of Our Lady and the Blessed Trinity to wish His Emminence every blessing on the anniversary of his priestly ordination and his continued holy ministry.

This week, we join in thanksgiving as Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, our Cardinal Protector, marks a profound milestone—his 50th Anniversary of Ordination to the Holy Priesthood. Fittingly, this Golden Jubilee will be celebrated with Holy Mass on June 29th, the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, pillars of the Church and faithful witnesses to Christ.

Ordained in 1975, Cardinal Burke has served the Church with unwavering dedication—as pastor, bishop, canonist, and as the Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura in Rome. His priesthood has been shaped by a deep love for Christ and His Church, a bold commitment to truth, and a tireless devotion to the sacred liturgy.

As he celebrates this momentous anniversary, we give thanks for Cardinal Burke’s priestly witness and spiritual leadership. Let us unite in prayer for him—asking the Lord to continue blessing him with strength, wisdom, and peace.
